Feed-in tariffs are nothing — why bother with solar?+
Spot on, feed-in is 4–6¢/kWh in QLD now. That's exactly why we lead with battery. The maths in 2026 isn't about selling power back, it's about not buying it at 38¢/kWh in the evening. The battery stores your cheap daytime generation for the expensive evening peak.
What's the Federal Battery Rebate?+
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program (CHBP) is tiered: $265/kWh for the first 14kWh, $159/kWh for kWh 14–28, and $40/kWh for kWh 28–50. On a 48kWh Off-Peak that's $10,827 off — the maximum rebate under the program — applied at point of sale. No paperwork from you. Heads-up: the multiplier drops on 1 July 2026.
I already have solar — can I just add a battery?+
Yes. Most QLD homes already have solar, so we do a lot of retrofit-only installs. Our quote tool detects which path fits your home and recommends accordingly.
What if you go out of business in 5 years?+
Product warranties (GoodWe EHB inverter + Lynx Home F battery, Risen panels) are with the manufacturers — they'll honour them whether we're around or not. CEC-accredited installers also have to maintain a 10-year workmanship warranty backed by the industry body. You're covered both ways.
My roof is older. Should I wait until I re-roof?+
If it's over 25 years old and you're re-roofing in 5 years, fair enough — let's hold off. Anything under 20 and structurally sound, we can mount the rails without issue. We'll inspect on the consult.
